Respiration is an act of breathing. (i.e. rise and fall of the chest). Respiration hastwo parts i.e. inhalation and exhalation. When we breath in oxygen it is called inspiration or inhalation and when we breath out carbon dioxide from the lungs it is called as expiration or exhalation.
