Who is a stakeholder?

The stakeholder is anyone who has something to gain or lose as a result of the completion or failure of the project or phase.

The stakeholder is not only the end customer. The Project managers, Project Lead, even testing department, programmers etc. are stake holders of the project. Therefore during the project management interview whenever you refer stake holders be clear about the terminology.
