Assignment Help:

Q. Show the layout of Dvorak-Dealey keyboard?

This was one keyboard layout designed to be a challenger to QWERTY layout. This was designed by August Dvorak and William Dealey after much scientific research in 1936. This layout attempts to make typing faster.  The fundamental strategy it tries to incorporate is known as hand alteration. Hand alteration implies that if you press one key with left hand the next key is likely to be pressed by right hand so speeding up typing (presuming you type with both hands).

However Dvorak has not been able to compete with QWERTY and almost all systems now come with QWERTY 101-key or 104-key based keyboards. Still there might be a possibility of designing new keyboards for particular areas say for Indian scripts.
