Q. Show Reduction to Metals?

After removed of the gangue, i.e. impurities physically mixed with the metal elements, the concentrated ore becomes ready for the isolation of metal. In concentrated ore, the metals are present in me form of their elements. Extraction of metals involves the reduction of metal compounds to free metals. In general, depending upon the reactivity of metals, their compounds may be reduced by one or more than one of the three kinds of metallurgical operations. These operations are hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, and electrometallurgy.
