I just really have a hard time understanding the situation. I just want to know if the two sides are really at war (yes, I understand that Palestine isn't really much of a country, controlled by Hamas, etc.) and why doesn't Israel just keep up with the huge bombing campaigns and invade West Bank and Gaza?
