Q. What are the endocrine glands involved in the menstrual cycle? What are the hormones in action?

The endocrine glands that secrete hormones involved in the menstrual cycle are the ovaries and the hypophysis (pituitary).

The hormones from adenohypophysis are LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) and the hormones from the ovaries are progesterone and estrogen.
