Hemoptysis
It is a common complication in patients with mitral stenosis and is related to the severity of mitral stenosis. Pulmonary edema and PND can cause hemoptysis as pulmonary capillaries may rupture due to sudden rise in pulmonary capillary pressure. Pulmonary embolism is common in patients with atrial fibrillation and heart failure and can lead to pulmonary embolism and hemoptysis.
