Semisynthetic polymers

These polymers are mainly derived from naturally taking place polymers by chemical changes. Since cellulose is naturally taking place polymers, cellulose on acetylation along with respect to acetic anhydride in the existence of sulphuric acid makes cellulose diacetate polymers. It is utilized in building materials and thread such as films glasses etc. Vulcanized rubber is as well a type of semisynthetic polymers utilized in creating tyres etc. gun cotton that is cellulose nitrate required in making explosive.
