Assignment Help:

Q. Self recoding of diary for the job analysis?

Self recoding of diary: in this method the job incumbent is asked to record his diary activities each day using some type of log book or diary. The method is good in that it systematically collects a great deal of information about the nature of and the time spent on the various activities during the day by the each incumbent. But it is very time consuming and the incumbent may start complaining that he spends more time in writing his diary than in doing his job. This method is particularly useful for high level managerial jobs.
