Illustrates the working of second barrier of exchange in channels distribution?

The second barrier to smooth exchange procedure arises due to time of production and the time at that the goods are required for consumption or use may differ extensively. Mass consumption products have to be created and stocked for within advance of consumption. Such discrepancy, taken as to temporal discrepancy among time of production of output and its consumption, creates needs of inventory stocking.
