A "sick day" is any health problem diabetic patient may have. This could include a common cold, infection, diarrhoea, fever, injury, surgery or a foot infection. Before patient become ill, advice them that they should discuss the plan to handle "sick days" with their physician.
When diabetic patients are ill, they will probably not feel like eating food, taking bath, or they may miss medicine. They will not go for exercise or do not follow up with a doctor or buy things from market.
