Retention of water by the kidneys is regulated by a part of the brain, called the hypothalamus, that controls the secretion of antidiuretic hormone (ADH).An increased secretion of ADH means that more water will move out of the kidney's tubules and collecting ducts and back into circulation.

This completes the entire story of nutrition, about which, author David Krough has explained so well in his book. It made for a very interesting read, as there are so many fascinating facts about our own bodies which we come to know as we read through. David Krough continues to impress readers with his wonderful information on life itself.
