If one were to think of Heart of Darkness as a response to Enlightenment values, such as those expressed in Kant's What Is Enlightenment?, do you think it supports or undermines such values?
Can u help me to argue that Kurtz and Marlow are enlightened through the course of novel, you must show how that works in terms of "freedom" and "thinking for one's self", more than just a retrospective evaluation of one's life.

Another issue is, how does the moral realization you describe connect with Kant's notion of human morality and ethics in relationship to the Enlightenment
