This section shall apply to the general requirements for design, fabrication, erection, and testing of structural steels for supports, stairways, ladders and platforms.

All structural steel design, fabrication, erection and testing shall also meet the requirements of the propre authorities of the countries in which they are installed.

All codes, standards and specifications when referred to shall be the latest published revisions in force at the time of proposals.
