Relationship between two tables-strategic decision making, Database Management System

Assignment Help:

In a job interview with a branch manager of a bank that operates in multiple Canadian provinces and the Yukon, you learn that all of the information is captured in real time in a single operating database. In addition, all of the reporting is done from a single data warehouse using SAP Business Intelligence software. Due to the bank's reliance on databases, the branch manager asks you the following questions to gauge your understanding of databases.

1. Operating database includes a Customers table and a Loans table. List some of the fields in each of these tables and indicate the key field in each table. What is the relationship between these two tables?

2. What actions will you be able to perform on the operating database using the bank's database application?  Explain the relationship of the data warehouse to the business intelligence tools?

4. Bank's senior management will be using SAP business intelligence software for strategic decision making. Give an example of a strategic decision that the bank's senior management may make and the information that may be used for this decision.
