q_1-2 - w_1-2 = (h₂ - h₁) + 0 + 0 - q_1-2 - (-w_1-2) = h₂ - h₁

w_1-2= q_1-2 + (h₂ - h₁)

Heat gets rejected and work is done on system.

6. Rotary compressor	W1-2 = h2 - h1; WD by the system due to increae in enthalpy
7. Reciprocating Compressor	W1-2 = q1-2 + (h2 - h1)
8. Diffuser	q - w = (h2 - h1) + ½( V22 -V 2)
