Recent  Concerns  Of  Food Safety

The rising worldwide human travel and global distribution of food is facilitating the introduction and flow of pathogens and other hazards into human and animal populations. Further, global sourcing can also move pathogens and toxins from areas in which they are indigenous to places in which  they  have  not  previously  existed. Food safety issues such as debate over organic foods, genetically modified foods,  the incidence of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), dioxin-contaminated foods arecausing heightened consumer concern about food safety worldwide today.
