The critical contact theory views that the typical candidate is unable to make a meaningful differentiation of employment offers in the terms of objective and subjective factors which his limited or very short contact with the organization. Choice can be made only when the candidate can readily perceive the factors such as the behaviour of the recruiter, the nature of the physical facilities, and the efficiency in processing paper work associated with the application. Thus, these theories emphasize that an organization must divulge as much information as possible to enable the candidate to arrive at a decision to offer himself for the employment or not. It is beneficial to both, the organization and the candidates.
