Which protocol gets a hardware address from a known IP ADDRESS?

Ans) Address Resolution Protocol - ARP is responsible for resolving MAC addresses to IP address. It keeps these in its ARP cache for later use. It does this to inform a lower layer of the destination's MAC address.
