Properties of laser:

Lasers have applications in various disciplines of science and technology. They also find applications in industry, medicine and defence and space science.

Important laser characteristic property "temporal coherence" Due to directionality even laser light travel up to 1km its spreads below 1cm diameter only. Due to high intensity 1volt laser is equal to 1000w ordinary bulb.
