How can I improve my summary? Over the years the company Johnson and Johnson has been recalling Tylenol products and taking them off the shelves since 1982. As of February 18, 2012 Johnson and Johnson had to remove about 574,000 Infant’s Tylenol off the shelves because of either damaged bottle caps or missing droppers to dispense the medicine in the children’s mouth. In some instances parents reported the cap had fallen in the medicine and Johnson and Johnson reported that in that instance, the medicine should have been removed. One mother stated that she had such a hard time getting the bottle cap off the medicine that she had eventually had to break off the bottle cap but Johnson and Johnson stated with that instance, she should of never had used the medicine in the first place if she was having that much difficulty. The parent has said that she had not switched to generic brand medicines for her kids safety and hers. The maker of Tylenol Mcneil has said that they are always trying to improve their products to make Tylenol the best medicine on the market. Even though Tylenol keeps trying to improve its products by introducing new designs, its sales are still are on a decline because of the recalls. After the continuous decline of sales, Tylenol still seeks to rebuild the trust and loyalty of the consumer which is an uphill task
