1. Background
During the lectures and tutorials on business process modeling and business process modeling tools, you learnt how to draw a Rich Picture; and Alter's Framework. For the scenario below, you are to apply these models.
2. Scenario
The following is the scenario for your Rich Picture and Alter's Framework for this Lab Report:
The Maloney Enterprises
Karina and James Maloney first came to Canberra from Ireland in early 1980s when Karina won a contract for the chief decorator for the current Parliament house which was then being completed. They made their home on a small farm, just outskirts of Canberra.
During the next twenty five years, they pursued their hobby of grape and olive growing. Today, they have grapes that they pick for wine making and grapes for sale at the local markets. They also sell olives and olive oil at the local markets as they have acquired an oil press as well.
As the business grew, Jim felt there was a need to set up a winery. The Maloney Enterprises sell wine online across the world. They have outsourced the packing and dispatching part of the business.
They also have regular wine tasting at the cellar. On Fridays, various Canberra professional groups book the wine tasting cellar for drinks to enjoy the beginning of the weekend.
