Product Holon
The product holon serves as the knowledge base for the manufacturing system. This can be portrayed like an information server to the other holons concerned in the Holonic Manufacturing System. This stores all the attributes connecting to the process and product knowledge to acquire better quality product and make sure exact manufacturing methods. The detailed information pertaining to product life cycle, user needs, process and design plans, bill of materials and so on, can be derived from the product holon. This information is necessary to form temporary alliances among various staff and resource holons that cause the virtual enterprise's evolution.
