Two boxes are in contact on a flat table. A force of 75.8 N is applied horizontally to the first box, which in turn pushes horizontally against the second box. The mass of the first box is 3.39 kg and the mass of the second box is 13.9 kg. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the boxes and the table is 0.24. (a) What is the net force on the system?
