Identify the main conclusion, English

Assignment Help:

For each of the following arguments, identify the main conclusion.

(i) Make no mistake, the perpetrators of this appalling terrorist attack will be brought down. Attacks on the American people will not be tolerated, and this attack goes right to the heart of the American people.

(i) The main conclusion is "the perpetrators of this appalling terrorist attack will be brought down".

(ii) There are currently more people applying to rent houses in Sydney than there are houses available for rent. Since it is a function of the government to provide basic facilities for its citizens, the NSW government should step in to provide affordable housing for those who need it.

The main conclusion is "NSW government should step in to provide affordable housing for those who need it."

(iii) People often complain about the police radar cameras, and especially fixed speed cameras, claiming that they are not just there to improve safety - they are there for revenue raising.  But it is ridiculous for people to complain because they have to pay when they get caught speeding.  The police raise a substantial amount of money every year by collecting speeding fines - money which would otherwise have to come from the government. And if it came from the government, it would have to be raised through increased taxation. As it is now, speeding fines are a kind of voluntary taxation - if you speed, then you pay for that privilege. If you don't speed, you don't have to pay. What could be fairer than that?

(iii) "It is ridiculous for people to complain because they have to pay when they get caught speeding."
