Personal Protective Equipment
These equipments are essentially required during working to protect face, eyes, respiratory system hands and clothes. Additionally in various industrial activities heads and feet have to be protected. Equipments like shields, goggles, masks, gloves, overalls, hats and boots are commonly employed. The workers in painting (spray) shop are given with protecting clothing. They may be provided along with masks and special arrangement for suction of spray may be required.
It is to be noted significantly that protective gears are not only to be used by the workers but also by those who investigate an accident because of leakage of gas or chemicals. The protective gears must be easy to don because their use is related with stress of working.
