Paper points & chemicals removal of gutta percha:

-  Flushing action: residual of qutta- percha and sealers chemically solvent by floating pulp chamber with chloroform.
-  Chemical soften GP can be absorbed and removed with appropriately sized, paper points.
-  Drying solvent-filled canals with paper points is known as "wicking action" . solution
-  Paper points "wick" by pulling dissolved GP from peripheral to central.
-  Finally, the canal is flushed with 70% isopropyl alcohol to eliminate the residual chemically softened GP.
