Let's start with a brief overview of the Dreamweaver work area. If you haven't already launched Dreamweaver, double-click Dreamweaver icon on your desktop to do so.
When you launch Dreamweaver, following work area items open up. Dreamweaver work area accommodates different styles of working and levels of expertise. Once you get accustomed to keyboard and other shortcuts, you may like to work in a totally blank space. Figure below demonstrates different components of the work area.
You would be well advised to close all floating panel and options boxes cluttering up the work area by clicking on X on the top right corner of boxes. To open Dreamweaver's windows, inspectors and panels, use Window menu.
