There is general consensus among educators that all learners are not the same. However, a single school visit might be enough to show that too often educators continue to treat all learners alike while paying lip service to the principle of diversity. Teachers accept that students learn in different ways. The experience in the classroom confirms this every day. Moreover, well-accepted theories and research illustrate and document learning differences. Learning differences are presented in different ways; whether by the name of learning styles, cognitive styles, psychological type, or multiple intelligences. It is also widely acknowledged that learners contribute to their learning experience by bring their own individual approach, talents and interests to the classroom
