Q. What are the target organs upon which glucagon and insulin act?

Glucagon mainly acts upon the liver and Insulin acts generally upon all cells. Both also act upon the adipose tissue respectively inhibiting (insulin) and stimulating (glucagon) the use of fatty acids in the energetic metabolism as an alternate path of the energetic metabolism is activated when there is shortage of glucose.
