Objects - polygon rendering and ray tracing methods
Objects could be any state of material as solid, liquid. Gas and plasma. Though ray tracers can merely assist objects which can have mathematical description as cube, spheres, cylinders, planes and cones different combinations of these basic objects assist in creating more complex objects. It is significant to note that all objects have several kind of texture, that includes the color of the object, and also any bumpiness, design or shininess such designer of the image may need to use. Conversely, to simplify the discussion of how ray tracing works, we will identify color to be the only texture represent on the objects which will be illustrated.
View Volumes and General Projection Transformations You have to remember that the view volume is the volume which sets up near and far extents, top and bottom extents and left
Implement displacement mapping and bump mapping on a sphere. The displacement can be whatever your choice. The bump map can be whatever your choice as well.
