After performing the activities under this exercise you should be able to:

1. Calculate the current drawn by a given instrument/equipment /appliance and suggest a fuse rating and the kind of plug to be used for the appliance,

2. Connect a plug to the wire of an appliance,

3. Construct and test the continuity testing device, and

4. Check the effectiveness of earthing in a given appliance using the continuity testing device.
