Non-benzenoid aromatics and Heterocyclic compounds

There are aromatic compounds that have structural units which are not same from benzenoid type and are termed as Non-benzenoid aromatics for illustration Tropolone, azulene etc.

(b) Heterocyclic compounds : Cyclic compounds consisting of one or more hetero atoms (for example O, N, S etc.) in the ring are known heterocyclic compounds.
