Noise attenuation in ventilating, Mechanical Engineering

Assignment Help:

Indicate size, capacity and noise reducing characteristics of all silencers on plans, including silencers for vane-axial fans.

Indicate all acoustical lining on drawings, generally:

• fan plenums

• both sides of room mounted fans

• upstream of roof mounted fans

• supplement to fan silencers

• downstream to air terminal units

Check air velocities and use perforated metal liner for velocities over 3,000 FPM (15 m/s). Schedule in specification completed.
