The objective or the necessity of allowing workers to participate within management can be as:

a. To acquire industrial peace and harmony.

b. To increase internal motivation in the workers.

c. To boost the morale of workers.

d. To elevate the levels of the productivity, product and production quality by worker.

e. To satisfy workers from making they feel that they have their voice into the management.

f. To provide workers a better understanding of their role within the working of industry.

g. To increase better mutual understanding than the workers do not resist a change for the betterment of the concern (as like introduction of work study, and many more.)

h. To diminish the number of grievances and thus, industrial disputes.

i. To create managing of the subordinates simply.
