The assignment is to assess the observations and arguments of Kennedy's inaugural address describing the nature of Cold War diplomacy, economic aid, and military might. The essay should consist of summarizing and analysis from the perspective of those who were possibly present and listening to the address at the time it was written without outside knowledge (such as the aftermath of the Cold War).
