a )  Quartz (SiO2), feldspars, amphiboles, pyroxenes and micas are the most common primary minerals in igneous  rocks.

b)   Name the secondary minerals present in a sedimentary rock.

b)  Calcite (CaCO3), dolomite [CaMg(CO3)2 ], quartz  and clays are the secondary minerals in sedimentary rocks.
