Moment of inertia, Physics

Assignment Help:

Moment of Inertia

In this section we get formulae for determining the moment of inertia or second moment of a mass around an axis for several common physical shapes.

The moment of inertia is calculated by summing the products of all mass elements by the squared moment arm associated with the element.
