Minimum number of two input nand gates in assembly line, Computer Engineering

Assignment Help:

An assembly line consists of 3 fail safe sensors and one emergency shutdown switch. The line must keep moving unless any of the given conditions occur:

a. When the emergency switch is pressed

b. When the senor1 and sensor2 are activated instantly.

c. When sensor 2 and sensor3 are activated instantly.

d. When all the sensors are activated instantly

Assume that a combinational circuit for above case is to be implemented merely with NAND Gates. Determine required minimum number of 2 input NAND gates.

Ans:

Number of 2-input NAND Gates required are six (6) you can try the whole implementation.
