Limb Regeneration in Amphibians
In vertebrates, the amphibians particularly the urodeles comprise spectacular power of regeneration. This power of regeneration has made them a favorite subject of research and thus these animals have been exhaustively studied. Much more information about the processes, mechanisms and systemic factors included in regeneration in these vertebrates is now available. We have picked two (2) well studied models of regeneration in vertebrates that are:
