L'Hospital's Rule

Assume that we have one of the given cases,

where a is any real number, infinity or negative infinity.  In these cases we have,

Therefore, L'Hospital's Rule describes us that if we contain an indeterminate form 0/0 or ∞ ∞ all we require to do is differentiate the numerator & differentiate the denominator and then take the limit.
