Lap-Type Flange-To-Shell Clearance

The difference between the flange ID and the shell OD shall not exceed:

• 1/16 in (1.6 mm) for nominal diameters, up to NPS 12, inclusive.

• 1/8 in (3.2 mm) for nominal diameters over NPS 12 through 48 in (1219 mm) OD.

• 3/16 in (4.8 mm) for nominal diameters over 48 in (1219 mm) OD.
