What is key distinction in arranging pumps in series and in parallel?


Answer

For same pumps with similar functions, if pumps arranged in series, total head is increased without a change to maximum discharge. On other hand, for pumps in order in parallel to one more, discharge is increased with no any changes to utmost head.
