Jas file formats, Computer Graphics

Assignment Help:

JAS: The JAS file formats were implemented to form the smallest possible picture files for 24bits per pixel image and 8 bit per pixel gray scaled pictures. This uses a discrete cosine transformation to alter and compress the image data. This category of storage and retrieval results in several losses of image data and this loss is based on the compression level selected through the application.
