What does it signify to say that the electric potential is a function of x only? More exclusively what does the equipotential diagram (in 3-dimensional space) look like in the case of an electric potential that is a function of x only.
Answer:
An equipotential figure is a picture indicating for each value from a set of values of electric potential that region of space for which all points have that value of electric potential.
When we utter that the electric potential depends on x merely we are saying that all those points in space whose coordinates have one and the similar value of x will have one and the same value of electric potential. In other sense for a given value of x the electric potential will have a certain value no matter what the values of y and z are now the locus (the infinite set) of points in space that all have the same x coordinate form a plane that is parallel to the y-z plane and is in fact a distance x from the y-z plane. Ever since all these points have one and the same value of electric potential the equipotential regions in the case of a potential which is a function of x only are planes parallel to the y-z plane.
The power distribute to a 15 watt light bulb in normal operation is 15 watts. In normal operation how greatly energy is delivered to such a bulb in an hour? Feedback:
Core losses or Iron losses: These losses having of hysteresis and eddy current losses, which happen due to pulsation of flux in the core. These losses depend upon the maximum flux
Describe binding energy. How does binding energy per nucleon vary with mass number? What is it significance.
First Law: It shows that the mass (m) of substance deposited at the cathode during electrolysis is directly proportional to the quantity of electricity (total charge q) passed by t
It determines the probability of an electron occupying a state at an energy level E. This takes into account that a collection of electron must obey the Pauli Exclusion Principle.
Explain 'drift velocity of free electrons'? Derive Ohm's law on the basis of the theory of electron drift.
Illustrate the source of stellar energy. Describe the carbon-nitrogen cycle and proton - proton cycle occurring in stars. Write down a note on ‘Breeder reactor'.
Describe Fresnel''s theory of optical rotation
Q. Explain density? Answer:- Density is a physical characteristic also is a measure of mass per unit of volume of a material or substance. It is a dimension of the amount
