Introduction to Computer:

This covers the major hardware features of computer graphics systems such as video monitors, keyboard, hard copy devices, and other devices for graphics input and output.

Vector & raster display devices have been elaborated. Raster refresh monitor is depend on television technology. It utilizes a frame buffer to store intensity information for each pixel. Vector displays construct pictures by drawing lines among specified points. Input devices as keyboard, trackballs and joysticks etc., are utilized to position the screen cursor. In virtual reality, data gloves are used. Other input devices include digitizers, image scanners, touch panels, light pens and voice systems.
