The following checklist is a starting point and it may be added to if subsequent inspections and debriefs indicate that this would be beneficial. It should always be remembered that the checklist is only an aide memoir for officers so that they do not forget to look at all the issues that should be considered during the inspection. The checklist is not the main element of the inspection, it is merely a supporting part.
