Inertia and the Right Hand Turn

Suppose in which you are a passenger within a car that is forming a right-hand turn. As the car starts to take the turn to the right, you frequent feel as by you are sliding to the left. The car is turning to the right because of the inward force, yet you feel as by you are being forced leftward or outward. In actuality, the car is starting its turning motion (to the right) while you continue within a straight line path. This motion could be better understood through examining the animation below.
