Importance of Chemistry in Life - Chemistry in Action

Chemistry plays vital role in our regular life from the starting, it has been in the service of mankind. Our daily needs of food, clothing, medicines, shelter, potable water etc. are in one or the other aspect that is associated with chemical compounds, procedures and principles. We all time owe a debt to chemists for their significant contributions for giving us life saving synthetic fibers, drugs, range of cosmetics, synthetic detergents, preservatives for our food, pesticides, fertilizers etc. There is no feature of our life that is not influenced by the developments in chemistry. So the mankind owes much more to chemistry as it has enhnaced the quality of life.
