It gave birth to several phases of botany but remains exciting, interesting and important because there is a direct link between fascinating species of plants and its inhabitants. Taxonomic studies have major objective-the learning of the kinds of plants and animal on earth, their names, their distinctions, their affinities, their distribution and habit.
